How LitBuy shipping is calculated

Shipping is charged on the chargeable weight: whichever is higher of the parcel's actual weight and its volumetric weight. Volumetric weight is length × width × height in centimetres divided by the line's divisor, so a big, light box can cost more than its weight suggests. Removing shoe boxes is the usual way to shrink a parcel.

The calculator multiplies the chargeable weight by the price per kg you enter and adds any fixed fee. Real quotes can use weight steps, such as a price for the first 0.5 kg and another for each extra 0.5 kg, so treat the result as a planning figure and check the final quote on LitBuy.

Using a shipping coupon

New accounts registered with invite code COCO get a new-user coupon pack worth up to $500, including up to 40% off international shipping. A percentage coupon saves more on a bigger shipping bill, and it only works once the shipping cost reaches the coupon's minimum spend, so it pays to combine items into one parcel. Sign up with code COCO, or read the LitBuy shipping guide first. If you ship to the EU, add import charges with the EU import fee calculator.
